This silver lacquer technique was developed in the early 20th century by Sakamoto Shoten, resulting in this beautiful and unique smoked blue dial, with a unique and shiny texture resulting from the multiple layers of lacquer applied and subsequently heated.

Thus, each dial has a unique beauty and texture, a work of art protected by a sapphire crystal and a steel case measuring 38mm in diameter.
