Description

Short story:

Launched in 2002 by Maison Cartier as an entirely new model (and not a reissue of past models), the Tank Divan drew inspiration from two old and forgotten models of the brand: the Baignoire from 1912 and the Double Strap from 1970. Available in two sizes and equipped with Quartz calibers (a partnership between Cartier and Ebel - the Compagnie Ebel Cartier) or automatic (based on the ETA 2000-1), the Divan was a watch ahead of its time and short-lived, being discontinued 4 years later.
