In the “Dynamic III” line from the 1990s, Omega took direct inspiration from the aesthetics of watches made for the British army in World War II.

Two models were produced, a chronograph and this three-hand version which, for obvious reasons, more closely resembles the “Dirty Dozen”.

Omega was one of twelve brands that supplied watches to the Ministry of Defence specifications for the military in World War II. These watches later became known as the “Dirty Dozen”. In addition to Omega, other brands that produced watches were Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, JLC, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Record, Timor and Vertex.
