This reference 2561.80 is popularly known as the watch of Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, which was a gift from his mother Lady Di when he was still young. He has been spotted wearing this watch on several occasions, revealing his personal preference and the deep sentimental value he holds for the Seamaster.

To immortalize it, the 41mm version, with the same configuration (Ref. 2541.80), was used by Pierce Brosnan when he played the British spy James Bond, in the 1995 film "Goldeneye".
