The renowned Seamaster collection has been an Omega legacy since 1948, when it was launched to celebrate the Swiss brand’s 100th anniversary.
This 1952 model is just as we love it: the dial with a small seconds design is completely original and has developed a beautiful patina over the decades, giving the piece exclusivity and charm, harmonizing with the gold-colored hour markers and dauphine-style hands. Equipped with the automatic caliber 344, recently overhauled.
Its movement marked the history of watchmaking as it was one of the first automatic calibres. It has an exclusive movement system in which, instead of the rotor rotating completely, it only moves in an arc of approximately 120 degrees, hitting against springs, creating the sensation of a hammer striking, hence the nickname bumper.
With a 34mm diameter case, it is ideal for those who like watches that are more discreet in size, but still have a lot of personality and history.
Its design is so iconic that in 2018, in celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Seamaster, Omega launched the reference model 511.12.38.20.02.001 (small seconds version) limited to 1,948 units, worn by Daniel Craig, playing the character Benoit Blanc, in the film Knives Out.
Great opportunity to own a unique and exclusive vintage Omega.
