Very rare first generation “Monopusher” Chronostop, when it was still part of the Seamaster line before moving to Geneva. The first generation has a different case design (C-Shape) and was marked 60m water resistance (not 30m).
This version available in our collection is model 145.008, with an internal bezel and rotation via the crown at 10 o'clock. The chronograph function is operated by the pusher at 2 o'clock, and the time is set via the crown at 4 o'clock. In addition to the unusual positioning of the crowns, the dial has a very interesting depth in the relief between the center and the edges, and also a unique refinement in the finish with applied indexes.
An interesting fact about the 145.008 is that it was possible to choose between three internal bezel options: diver, regatta and pilot. This one is the pilot version, which can also be used to mark another time zone in addition to the main time.
The watch is in a rare state of conservation, has been recently serviced and is working perfectly. With the exception of the mesh bracelet that further accentuates the 60s style, the watch is completely original, with a light polish on the case, maintaining its characteristics.
