The Seamaster Cosmic 2000 line was launched in the early 1970s, when Omega sought to diversify the Seamaster collection with durable, elegant and innovative models.

A striking feature of the Seamasters Cosmic 2000 is its monobloc case design, meaning the case back is pressed against the case via a steel ring. This construction system was innovative at the time, as it ensured a more efficient seal.

Also part of the Cosmic 2000’s DNA is the striking case design, which is more rounded and modern, reflecting the trend of the 1970s, giving it an elegant yet robust look as expected from a Seamaster.

For those who want a vintage Omega, with a larger, more robust case, in excellent condition, this is an excellent option.

This watch is in excellent condition, completely original, with the exception of the strap and buckle. Original polished case, original dial, signed crown and the famous seahorse engraved on the caseback. The 1012 automatic movement is in excellent condition, rare to find in a watch of this age.
