The Seamaster De Ville line emerged in the early 1960s with the aim of creating a watch that would cater to the public that valued both performance and aesthetics, as it represented the fusion of the robustness of the Seamasters with the elegance and refinement of the De Ville line.

Due to the success of this merger, the De Ville collection became independent in 1967, focusing on more refined Omega watches, while the Seamaster collection continued to offer models geared more towards sports use.

This beautiful piece is listed on the original dial, which has developed a beautiful patina around the dial. The 32mm case still has its original polish, making it ideal for a dress watch. It is equipped with the reliable automatic calibre 552.
