Another watch from Omega’s legendary Speedmaster family, the Mark II was a new take on design while still retaining the DNA of the classic “Moonwatch.”

The main visual difference compared to its older brother is its tonneau box (barrel shape), a design trend at the time, being more robust, but bolder and more aerodynamic.

This model is from 1970, one year after man set foot on the moon, and is equipped with the caliber 861, the same as the “Moonwatch”, an update of the caliber 321.

It has been recently serviced and is in perfect working order. The case has been lightly polished to maintain its original features. The original dial is undamaged and has developed an interesting patina. It shows small signs of use on the case and crystal, which protects the tachymeter internally. A highly collectible piece for those who want to get away from the traditional “Moonwatch”.
