A classic from the 1970s, the Mark IV is an important member of Omega's legendary Speedmaster family.

With a new design approach, but maintaining the DNA of the classic “Moonwatch”, it was the first Speedy with an automatic movement in the series (based on the Lemania 1340), having been produced for a short period of time, becoming a rarity among collectors.

Its tonneau box (barrel shape) is certainly the main difference, a design trend at the time, being more robust, but bolder and more aerodynamic.

The watch has been recently serviced and is in perfect working order. With a light polish on the case, it maintains its original features. The original dial is undamaged and has developed an interesting patina over the decades. It shows small signs of wear on the case and crystal, which protects the tachymeter internally. A highly collectible piece for those who want to get away from the traditional “Moonwatch”, but with the DNA of the watch that accompanied man to the Moon.
