Ideal for those looking for a classic, more compact and exclusive Speedmaster.
Introduced in 1957, the Spedmaster became famous in 1969 when it became the first watch to go to the Moon, worn by astronaut Buzz Aldrin on the Apollo 13 mission, earning it the nickname Moonwatch.
Over the decades, the Speedmaster collection has expanded, with several models being launched that share the same DNA, such as this reference 175.0044, also known as the Speedmaster Triple Date, as it features a complete calendar indicating the day, date and month.
It has a 39mm diameter steel case and 43mm lug to lug, being a more compact version of the traditional Moonwatch. It is equipped with the automatic caliber 1151, making it more practical, as it is only necessary to wear it on a daily basis and it will always be working, without having to wind it using the crown. Beautiful blue dial protected by a sapphire crystal. It has an original bracelet for wrists up to approximately 17cm.
This model is exactly 30 years old, having left the Omega factory in Bienne/Switzerland in 1995. It is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use. Recently subjected to a complete overhaul, it is in perfect working order, ready to wear on the next wrist and live out more decades of history.
