This is an unusual model. It is part of the Seiko 5 line, but with a very unique case design.

Considered a “Sports Diver” in the 60s/70s, it features very bold vintage features on the dial, such as the “cross hair” and color on the applied indexes.

The “Sports Diver” line at the time was aimed at an audience interested in more versatile watches, less social as were common in previous decades.

At the time, Seiko was still in competition with the two manufacturers: Suwa and Daini. This version of what would be a recreational diver from Daini does not use the bezel, which later became a signature of watches of this style.
