Seiko has had so many iconic models throughout its history that it’s hard to say which era had the coolest watches, but the 70s were definitely the peak when it came to chronographs. In addition to the yellow version nicknamed “Pogue”, the blue version also became very famous as it was seen countless times being worn by French Formula 1 driver François Cevert.

Anyone who likes Seiko and keeps an eye on the market knows how difficult it is to find a completely original 6139-6002. Often, the watches have had parts replaced and the polishing changes the design of the case. What a shame.

This piece in our collection has all original parts, except the bracelet, which is a high-quality reproduction with solid links. Apparently the luminous hands were reapplied at some point, but it does not clash with the rest of the watch.

The watch is working perfectly, including the internal bezel rotating. Another unmissable classic!
