A symbol of Seiko's success in developing ultra-compact chronographs, the 7016-8001, nicknamed "Flyback", represents a milestone in functional and minimalist design.

Developed by the Daini team, two years after the appearance of the 6139 caliber, from Suwa's “adversaries”, the 7016 caliber can be considered a more advanced mechanism, as it has the Flyback function (hence its nickname), that is, there is no need to pause and reset the chronograph to start another time count.

Increasingly rare on the market, this model is in excellent condition, completely original. The dial is in excellent condition overall, with slight marks on the edge. The caliber 7016 was recently overhauled and is in perfect working order.

With a case measuring 37mm in diameter and 42mm between lugs — it is a size considered perfect for those who like watches that wear more discreetly.
